My First Post

Good Morning! This is my first post, and my first time blogging. I am a sahm and homemaker so that is what most of my posts will be about.

Schools out. My oldest daughter is so excited to be out of school for the summer. We have lots of fun activities planned, so she shouldn't be bored. Friday we went to the local library and did the summer activity, planting the childrens garden. After that we had a picnic at the park behind the library and the girls signed up for the summer reading program. Saturday we went on a nature walk and collected sticks, rocks, bark, pinecones, etc. to make tiny fairy houses in the yard. When we got home we designated a spot in the yard as "fairy land" and built the houses there. Today we printed out paper dolls from the internet on cardstock and the girls are making a paper doll house.

Dinner tonite will be chicken and veggie kabobs on the grill. DH will cook those when he gets home from fishing. I will make some potatoe salad and bake a shortcake to serve with the strawberries my grandmother picked for me this morning (we all live on the family farm - our house is first, my parents house nexdoor, and my grandparents nextdoor to them). This should be a very yummy dinner!
